Introduction

The ‘OSD Style’ (On Screen Display) is the in-panel information about the camera which by default shows the camera name, the type of panel (live or playback) and the recording status. Optionally more information can be added to the OSD as well as the position, color and size of the text. It is also possible to change the ‘OSD Style’ using a macro.

  • Record Icon (default)
    Red bullet icon on the right side of the panel indicating recording.

  • Audio Icon  (default)
    Blue speaker icon on the right side of the panel indicating audio is available.

  • PTZ Icon  (default)
    Joystick icon indicating the camera is a PTZ camera.

  • VCA Icon  (default)
    Puzzle icon indicating VCA (ObjectR Advanced) is enabled.

  • Device Name  (default)
    Name of the camera.

  • Live video date time<
    Time of the live video. By default this is the local time of the server, but if RTP timestamps in enabled (Read More) it is the time of the camera.

  • Playback video date time  (default)
    Time of the recorded video. This is only visible in a playback panel.

  • Framerate
    Framerate of the video stream and recording (these values can differ depening on dual streaming and storage settings).

  • Resolution
    Resolution of the video stream.

  • Motion value  (default)
    Percentage of the amount of current movement in the video stream.

  • Latency value
    Average delay time in milliseconds of the last 10 seconds between camera and Sense Client. If RTP timestamps is not enabled the time difference is between Sense Server and Sense Client.

  • Additional value  (default)

  • Border
    Border around video panel.

  • Latency warning
    If the time difference between camera and Sense Client (or SenseServer depending on RTP Timestamps value) is more than 500ms a red cross is drawn over the video panel.

The third value is the framerate of the videostream which is displayed. Depending on dual streaming settings this value can differ depending on the size of the panel (Read more/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/948535512).

The fourth value is the framerate of the videostream which is recorded.
