Manitoba - Passenger truck since 2013 bienvenue

Since 25th February 2013 an alternative optional plate has been available for cars, trucks and farm trucks. A pale blue sky at the top with a green, yellow and blue forest and lake scene at the bottom. The registration is dark blue, and at the top in dark blue is the legend Friendly Manitoba, the dot on the i being replaced by a small red maple leaf. At upper right is a small bison and Bienvenue at the bottom in dark blue.

Nova Scotia - Passenger truck since 1991

At the top of the plate is the province name, and at the bottom the legend CANADA S OCEAN PLAYGROUND. The registration is of three serial letters and three numerals superimposed on a schooner (the Bluenose ) in two shades of blue; these were first issued in June 1989 starting at BRT 001 and will eventually supersede the former series. Older registrations from the 1979 series can be remade with the Bluenose base.
