Motorcycles had similar plates with the red band at upper left or upper center with the district/county code and one letter above three numerals Since 1995 plates had also had a red band to the left (upper left or upper center on two line plates) with the national crest in black above the letters AL in white.

they had the district/county code letters followed by three numerals and one letter. At the right, on two lines, were the letters TA above XI; in a few cases the TA XI was before the serial letter.
