Most cameras use an With the "Internet Explorer mode" in Edge it is possible to open the web page of, for example, an IP camera that uses ActiveX plugin for (playing live ) video in a browser which only works in (the old) IE11.
To continue using this plugin in Edge, a web page can be opened in "Internet Explorer Mode" making it possible to continue using this ActiveX Plugin.
This can be useful for models that don't support HTML5
