Server based Privacy mask
The server based Privacy Mask feature allows the user to configure up to 64 privacy zones over the videostream of the camera.
Note:
By design, the privacy masks are not shown in a layout when a administrator user is logged in. Administrator users are privileged to see the video data without privacy masking. Normal users can have an additional privilege function called ‘Lift Privacy Mask’ to be able to lift the privacy mask. This functionality can be added in the Usermanagement->Functions tab.
To enable the Privacy Mask check the ‘Enabled’ checkbox in the upper right corner. Once enabled, the buttons to create and remove the zones will become visible on the left side of the screen. When enabling the privacy mask for the first time, automatically the first zone will be added.

Camera based Privacy mask
This feature is available for the TKH Security Solutions driver and the Hikvision driver.
With this feature, privacy mask feature in the camera itself can be configured via the Sense client interface.
