Add or Edit an I/O Device
To add an I/O Device click on the ’+’-button. At tab General give the device a name, choose a location, choose the type and set the IP-address. To edit a device click on the device row. The name of the device is used to give operators a human readable identifier. A name which descibes the function is well understood by most people. The purpose of locations is to group devices which are on the same physical location. This to prevent long device list when there are a lot of devices. Choose an existing location or type in a new location. New locations are automatically added to the list.
