Description:

Sometimes it is convenient to let iProtect™ automatically generate the numbering of the hardware.

The numbering can be generated with the Code or Architectual ID. Numbering with the Code is mostly used.

Essentials:

Enabling Code:

Go to menu option: Installation > Authorization > System user

Click on the “Search” button
Click on the + left of the user you want to change e.g. “root” to open the tree view
Click on the + left of System settings
Click on the + lift of “Show”
Click on “Code” and enable the checkbox “Value”

In this screen you can also enable “Primary value” (iProtect™ internal ID’s), “Architectural ID” and more.

You can let iProtect™ number its lines, nodes, readers etc:

Go to menu option: Installation > Authorization > System user

Click on the “Search” button
Click on the user you want to change e.g. “root”
In the detail window, select “Technical code” from the “Hardware view” dropdown list
