How do I add the 1000-1100 series cameras to Mirasys?

Compatibility with Mirasys

The Siqura 1000-1100 series camera's are compatible with Mirasys.

We have tested this on Mirasys Enterprise versions 5.12.6 and 7.4.4 .

The devices are not listed by Mirasys, use their ONVIF driver version 1.3.2.0 and up.

Important notes to consider:

  1. Video capabilities

Applies to 1000-series and 1100-series models.

Video capabilities were tested and found to be working properly using the Mirasys ONVIF driver.

  1. Audio capabilities

Applies to 1100-series models.

The Audio capabilities were not tested. Based on experiences we have had on other VMS platforms, the Microphone (camera to VMS) function will probably work, but the Speaker function (VMS to camera) will likely not work.

  1. Digital I/O functions

Applies to 1100-series models.

The Digital I/O capabilities were not tested. Based on experiences we have had on other VMS platforms, we expect these functions to work properly.

  1. Hardware video motion detection and Camera tampering

Applies to 1000-series and 1100-series models.

The Hardware video motion detection and Camera tampering events were not tested. Based on experiences we have had on other VMS platforms, we expect these functions to work properly.

Should you encounter difficulties receiving these events from the camera in Mirasys, then please upgrade the camera firmware to the latest version found on our support site. We have seen issues on older firmwares with these events via ONVIF protocol, and they should now be resolved.

  1. Intrusion detection and Line crossing detection

Applies to 1000-series and 1100-series models.

Intrusion detection events and Line crossing detection events were not tested.

  1. Audio exception detection

Applies to 1100-series models.

Audio exception detection events were not tested.

  1. Advanced video analytics

Applies to 1100-series models.

Defocus detection events, Scene change detection events, Face detection events, Region entrance detection events, Region exiting detection events, Unattended baggage detection events, Object removal detection events, and Counting events, were not tested.
