Description:

The purpose of this guide is to explain the various reports in iProtect.

Essentials:

Access Reports:

You will find the available reports in iProtect menu:

Access > Overviews > Reports

Read the first report (presence (area)) first, all things are explained in detail. The following reports are explained more briefly.

Presence (area)

The window is divided in 3 area’s: top left is the Search Area, the area below that is the results of the search. You can select there the items you want to make a report of. The bottom left is the “Output” area. You can define there the report: time period, selection, filter, graph type of with some reports a file (csv or xml).

The search category are:

  • All access area

  • All areas

  • All parking areas

  • By abbreviation

  • By area name (default)

The last two will give a “Type” and “Search keyword” and more search options like “Preselection”.

The type selections are:

  • Access areas (default)

  • All areas

  • Parking areas

When pressed search and you have nothing changed you will see a list of the access areas. And you can select the areas where you want a report made of. Multi select (shift-click of ctrl-click) can me used here:

Below that you can select what you want to see in the report (Output options).

Report type:

  • Current (default)

  • Historical

And a extra selection:

  • none (default)

  • Card use

  • CMS ID:

  • Custom fields

  • Department

These extra selections will, when selected, show a selection window or pull-down menu to select the needed options.

Select one of the access areas and pressing “Show” will open a new window. Inside it is a PDF, example:

Presence detail (area)

The search category are:

  • Administration number

  • All

  • Card use

  • CMS ID:

  • Department

  • Name (default)

Output options can be group by:

  • Area (default)

  • Cardnumber presentation

  • Card use

  • Department

  • etc.

Sorting (Order) can also be defined here:

  • Card

  • Name (default)

In this report you have the option for a PDF output but also a Export.

Export Format:

  • XML

  • CSV

Example:

Reader

This report will show who (cards) has access on the selected reader(s). Access will be shown of a week

Also the battery level of readers can be outputted to a report.

The search category are:

  • Abbreviation

  • All (Battery status only)

  • Architectural name:

  • Battery status

  • Camera

  • Card data interpretation

  • Card data interpretation group

  • From area

  • Grouping

  • Mobile access

  • Modus

  • Name (default)

  • Node

  • Reader mode

  • Technical comment

  • To area

  • Update status

Then selected anything other then “Name” or All, a corresponding selection box will appear.

Make a selection of the readers you want to see the acces on and press “Show”.

Changing the “Show” from Access to Battery level will give two other functions, reports on battery status and on battery status %.

Parking statistic

The search category are:

  • Abbreviation

  • All

  • Area

  • Block (default)

Period selection are:

  • Day (default)

  • Week

  • Month

  • Free Selection

Options:

Round to:

  • min.

  • quarters

  • hours

And events can be opted to be included.

Columns show:

  • Exceedings number

  • Exceedings, duration

  • Paid parkers

  • Paid parkers, duration

  • Total parkers

Example:

Parking particulars

The search category are:

  • Abbreviation

  • All

  • Area

  • Block (default)

Period selection selection is first day data tol last day data.

Report criterion:

Critical parking time in hours : minutes

In this report you have the option for a PDF output and a Export.

Output can be grouped by using the “Group by:” selection field:

  • Arrival time

  • Name

Export Format:

  • XML

  • CSV

Example:

Occupancy rate

The search category are:

  • Abbreviation

  • All

  • Area

  • Block (default)

Period selection are:

  • Day (default)

  • Week

  • Month

  • Free Selection

Other selections are:

  • Total

  • Employees

  • Management

  • Other

  • Visitor

In this report you have the option for a PDF output but also a Export.

Export Format:

  • XML

  • CSV

Example:

Cardholder

The search category are:

  • All cards

  • Card

  • Card use

  • Custom fields

  • Department (default)

  • Department (abbreviation)

  • Person

Extra selection:

  • All

  • Blocked

  • Expired

  • Invalid (default)

  • Not expired

  • Valid

In this report you have the option for a PDF output but also a Export.

Export Format:

  • XML

  • CSV

Example:

Access rights

Selection options are:

  • All

  • Card holder (default)

  • Custom fields

  • Reader

In this report you have the option for a PDF output but also a Export.

Access rights can be grouped by using the “Group by:” selection field.

Export Format:

  • XML

  • CSV

Example:

(Unauthorized) access

The search category are:

  • Abbreviation

  • All

  • Name (default)

Option:

  • Locked door

  • Open door

Date selection:

  • Free selection (default)

  • Last four weeks

  • Last month

  • Last week

  • Today

  • Yesterday

Example:

Access rights per reader group

The search category are:

  • Abbreviation

  • Admittance

  • All

  • Name (default)

Example:

Card by block

Selection options are:

  • All

  • Block (default)

  • Custom fields

  • Department

  • Rental contract

In this report you have the option for a PDF output and a Export.

Output can be grouped by using the “Group by:” selection field.

Export Format:

  • XML

  • CSV

Example:

Cards by card group

Selection options are:

  • All

  • Card group (default)

  • Custom fields

  • Department

  • Person

In this report you have the option for a PDF output and a Export.

Output can be grouped by using the “Group by:” selection field.

Export Format:

  • XML

  • CSV

Example:

Cards by Cardcoding:

Selection options are:

  • All

  • Cardnumber presentation(default)

  • Custom fields

  • Department

  • Person

In this report you have the option for a PDF output and a Export.

Output can be grouped by using the “Group by:” selection field.

Export Format:

  • XML

  • CSV

Example:

Card trace

Selection options are:

  • All

  • Department

  • Person (default)

Date selection:

  • Start and End date

Output can be grouped by using the “Group by:” selection field and Ordered by the “Order by:” selection field.

Events:

In the output, the events also can be included by selecting the “Show” checkbox.

Example:

Number of cards with same cardcoding

The search category are:

  • All

  • Card number presentation

  • Card use

  • Custom fields

  • Department (default)

  • Department - abbreviation

Number is the minimal concurring card groups.

Output can be Arrange by:

  • Card number presentation (default)

  • Department

  • Number

  • Person’s name

Example:

Activity card card group limitations

The search category are:

  • Abbreviation

  • All

  • Name (default)

Output Options:

  • Both (default)

  • Only active

  • Only inactive

Example:

Card graphics

The search category are:

  • All

  • Card use (default)

Output options:

List period (First day - Last Day)

Other:

Graphics type:

  • Cards added/deleted

  • Cards generated by

  • Cards valid/invalid (default)

Graph display:

  • Added graphs

  • All on one page

  • One graph per page

Example:

Area

The search category are:

  • Abbreviation

  • All

  • Location

  • Name (default)

Date selection:

Options:

  • Free selection

  • Last four weeks

  • Last month (default)

  • Last week

  • Today

  • Yesterday

Report:

  • Event list

  • In / out statistics (default)

  • Occupancy rate graphics

In this report you have the option for a PDF output (report) but also an Export (file).

Export Format:

  • XML
