Step 1: Requirements

  • An activated Sense Client and Sense Server installation
    Since Sense Server has no graphical user interface, therefore you need to activate the Sense Server software via a Sense Client.

  • An internet connection
    The Sense Client needs an internet connection for the activation process, as well as being able to connect to the Sense Server over the network. Note that the Sense Server does not require any internet connection

Step 2: Deactivation

  • Open the deactivation wizard by clicking the Deactivate button.

  • Before you can start the deactivation process a dialog appears. Confirming this dialog removes the license from the server or the client directly. This cannot be rolled back! If you made a mistake but you started this process already it is better to simply continue deactivating the license and  later activate the license again to restore the system.

  • To deactivate your software you will need to provide a valid email address. A confirmation will be emailed to this address.

  • After clicking the Deactivate button, you need to confirm (click the Confirm button) the summary in order to complete the activation of your software.

  • When successfully deactivated the software license status changes and you will be able to activate your license on a different computer.
