VDG Sense | Video Content Analyses | CarR

New or updated CarR modules will sometimes be included in newer versions of VDG Sense. CarR modules will occasionally be migrated with other modules or even completely removed. In previous versions, VDG Sense did not take enabled modules into account.

From VDG Sense versions 2.4.29 & 2.5.5 and on, installing an update will check the current enabled CarR modules, and make adjustments if applicable. Meaning that modules no longer available will be removed, and replaced with the migrated module. Modules that are removed will be removed from the installation completely.

In the table(s) below, you will find an overview of each VDG Sense version with the migrated modules.

Frequently asked questions

How does the update work?
When installing 2.4.29 / 2.5.5 or higher, the installer will look at the current enabled modules. If any of the enabled modules have been migrated with another module, the module will be replaced with the migrated module.

Do I need to manually updated my profile settings?
No, the update will correctly replace modules in the profile settings of a device.

Will this affect my other CarR modules?
Other CarR modules are not affect by the migration process. This also includes modules that are simply updated.

The migration turned on a CarR module that I do not want, what do I do?
The migration main purpose is to avoid loss of functionality. However, it is possible that a country module has been migrated with another module you do not want.  You can simply disable the country module again in the Server tab, but be aware that the previous license plates will no longer be recognized.
