S64/S68 "hard factory default" reset procedure

Reset button

The S-64 E has a reset button which can be pressed by inserting a straightened paper clip into the hole to the left of the DATA socket.

Warning: Keeping the reset button depressed for 3 seconds or longer erases the upgrade firmware (if present) in the upgrade image area.

 

  • To reset the unit and return the user settings to factory default

         Press the reset button and release it within 1 second.

         The DC LED turns off for a short time.

 

  • To reset the unit, return the user settings to factory default and return to the original factory version of the firmware

  1. Press the reset button and keep it depressed. After 3 seconds the DC LED turns off.

  2. Release the button once the DC LED has turned off.
