S64/S68 "hard factory default" reset procedure

Reset button
The S-64 E has a reset button which can be pressed by inserting a straightened paper clip into the hole to the left of the DATA socket.
Warning: Keeping the reset button depressed for 3 seconds or longer erases the upgrade firmware (if present) in the upgrade image area.
To reset the unit and return the user settings to factory default
Press the reset button and release it within 1 second.
The DC LED turns off for a short time.
To reset the unit, return the user settings to factory default and return to the original factory version of the firmware
Press the reset button and keep it depressed. After 3 seconds the DC LED turns off.
Release the button once the DC LED has turned off.
