Using the Live Menu

Placing a layout or multi-layout

To place a layout on your monitor, open the Live menu by clicking on the ‘Eye’ icon and then opening the “Layout” or “Multi-Layout” list. Search for the layout you wish to place. This can be done by simply browsing through the layout list, or using the search field by entering a part of the layout name.

To place a layout, simply click on the layout in the layout list and it will place that layout on the current selected monitor.

To place a layout on another monitor, you can drag and drop the layout from the list on any local monitor, or on a remote monitor by dropping the layout on the monitor icon in the main navigation bar.

Placing a camera or camera sequence

To place a camera in a layout panel, open the Live menu by clicking on the ‘Eye’ icon and then opening the “Camera” or “Camera sequence” list. Search for the camera you wish to place. This can be done by simply browsing through the layout list, or using the search field by entering a part of the camera name or part of the location name. To filter directly on a specific location, click the “Location” icon next to the search field and select one of the available locations.

To place a camera, click on the panel you wish the camera to be positioned and then simply click on the camera in the camera list.

To place a layout on another monitor, you can drag and drop the layout from the list on any local monitor, or on a remote monitor by dropping the layout on the monitor icon in the main navigation bar.

Using the Tools Menu

The tools menu is where the fixed-layouts, as well as the Video tag and System Events dialog are located.

Like regular layouts, the fixed layouts can be opened by simply clicking the icon in the Tools menu. This will open the fixed layout on the current selected monitor. The fixed layouts can also be dragged to a monitor by dragging the icon from the Tools menu to the desired monitor.
