To properly connect VDG Sense Server to C4, you need to start internal HTTP Server. In Settings mode, choose the Plugins tab, select HTTP Server from the list and ensure that the API version is at least 2.6.1. You need to ensure that C4 has ethernet/internet access to VDG Server’s IP via standard TCP connection on port 80. Note that it is required to have the PRO license with unlimited API.
Hardware Components and Communication
VDG Sense C4 Driver communicates with VDG Sense server via standard TCP HTTP communication on port 80.

Important! Time Zone field should be set to System Time Zone, the driver automatically calculates the time based on the fact the Sense server always uses UTC time without any offset.

The Sense id can be found in the Server tab. Click the Server Status sub-tab and click “Open Connections” button. Sense Client Connections dialog is displayed. Sense ID number is for types: UserServer or Native Sense Client.

Using camera dome function (PTZ)
For using camera dome function is is required to configure dome properties in Sense client.
More information on how to do this can be found in the PTZ section of the Knowledge Base
After adding PTZ properties to selected camera, the PTZ functions are available in C4 application. To add PTZ camera to C4, PTZ camera should be selected instead of Videocamera.
The PTZ control panel will be visible on the right of the viewer, after clicking ‘Show’ on the PTZ camera icon. There are four ways of controlling the camera:
Direction – going to indicated direction (pan, tilt)
Zoom IN/OUT – dome zooming
Go to the preset – go to selected preset.
Set the preset – set new preset.
