The fixed layout “Sense Search” handles searching through the meta-data. Search request always contain a date-time range, and for some request a specific device. When searching the progress of the search is shown. During searching you cannot place another request, but still can do other things like switching to a different (multi-)layout.
Begin by defining a device and the date-time range, if the start-date is greater than the end-date, the system is smart enough to switch both dates using the end-date as the start-date and vice versa. The search result is stored in memory per tab and can be cleared per tab. By switching the tab the last search result is shown for that tab. The Diva Search layout contains 6 tabs
Search results can be exported to a CSV file by clicking the ‘Export results’-button below the results table.
Motion
By drawing an area on the video panel you can define the area where there has to be motion. Searching in motion data can take a while due to the vast amount of data, so the more precise the date-time range the faster the result will be returned.
Note that if motion detection is not enabled on a device, it will not have motion data and will return no results.
ObjecrR general
This tab gives you the ability to search on a newly defined ObjectR rules for a specific camera or encoder to search through stored ObjectR data. The rules are then compared with the stored ObjectR objects like Person, Car and Undefined, without the rules having to be defined on the camera or encoder beforehand.
Note that ObjectR search can only be applied to devices with ObjectR enabled.
CarR
This tab gives you the ability to search on license plate, detected by CarR a specific camera. It is possible to enter a part of the license plate to find any matches, or keep the field empty to show all license plate found in between the set start/end time.
Note that CarR search can only be applied to devices with CarR enabled.
Events
The two lists are allowing multi-select, you can use multi select with ctrl-click (select non-consecutive items) and shift-click (select consecutive items). To search events you need to select at least one (or more) cameras and at least one (or more) event types. The free text can be used to search the event parameter, where each new line is added to the search request. The free text is not used literally but follows the more relaxed ’contains’ comparison. A search request is performed over multiple servers, the progress shown is from the slowest server.
Example: Search for a license containing ’AB’ or ’12’ on two CarR cameras around 12 o’clock.
First Select a start date/time just before 12 o’clock and an end date/time just after 12 o’clock. Then select the two cameras with CTRL-click, next select the event ’CarR license plate found’ and then type as event text ’AB’ and ’12’ (without the quotes) each on a new line. Comparison is done in a case-insensitive way. The following query is performed: ’Find all CarR license plate found events which contain ’ab’ or ’12’ between 11:55 and 12:05’
POS
