VDG Sense | Video Content Analyses | FaceR

Note: FaceR functionality is not available in VDG Sense 2.5 or higher

  • Use FaceR/FaceD in controlled environment:

    • Prevent uncontrollable, erratic influences like sunlight.

    • Use artificial lighting to ensure evenly illuminated faces.

    • Prevent (overhead) lighting which causes shadows in the face.

  • Persons should look straight into the camera.

  • Only minor parts of the face may be covered.

  • Eye distance (distance between pupils) should be at least 60 pixels for optimal performance.

  • Max vertical angle of camera is 15 degrees.

Besides comparing faceprints with the person lists, risk profiles can be programmed to detect people returning within a pre-defined period of time. All these events can be used to trigger macros, or activate other components like outputs, layouts etc.
