How do I add the 1000-1100 series cameras to Genetec Security Center?

Compatibility with Genetec Security Center

The Siqura 1000-1100 series camera's are compatible with Genetec Security Center. We have tested this on SC version 5.3 and 5.4. Certification process is still on its way and pending approval on the Genetec supported hardware list, all necessary information for Genetec to proceed on this was already submitted.

Expected date of official listing is end of September, 2016.

How to add the camera to Genetec Security Center

Pending the official listing, you can use the Siqura HDxx, MDxx driver:

Using this driver, your camera will be added correctly to the VMS.

Important notes to consider:

1. Hardware Video Motion Detection and Camera Tampering detection

Applies to 1000-series and 1100-series models.

Hardware video motion detection events and Camera tampering detection events work on the cameras, but with some previous camera firmware versions you might encounter difficulties. If this happens, please upgrade the firmware for your camera. You can download the latest camera firmware from our support site.

1. Intrusion detection and Line crossing detection

Applies to 1000-series and 1100-series models.

Intrusion detection events and Line crossing detection work in Genetec Security Center, but you need updated firmware (d.d. 2016-09-27).

1. Audio exception detection

Applies to 1100-series models.

Audio exception detection events do not work in Genetec Security Center.

1. Advanced video analytics 

Applies to 1100-series models.

Since firmware version 2016-09-27, Scene change detection events, Face detection events, Region entrance detection events, Region exiting detection events have been tested and are working in Genetec Security Center.

Not tested yet are Defocus detection events, Unattended baggage detection events, Object removal detection events, and Counting events.
