Internet Explorer (IE11) mode in Edge

With the "Internet Explorer mode" in Edge it is possible to open the web page of, for example, an IP camera that uses ActiveX plugin for playing live video in a browser.
This can be useful for models that don't support HTML5

  • Open “settings” menu in Edge browser

  • Open tab “Default browser”

  • Select “Allow” sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode from drop-down menu.

  • Restart brower

An icon appears in the menu bar which makes it is possible to activate the Internet Explorer mode when opening (for example) web-page of camera
