VDG Sense | Setup | Servers | Client Settings

This article explains the functionality of the ‘Client Settings’ tab.

  • Login status
    Information about the client connection status to the server. Either ‘Logged in’ or ‘Incorrect Credentials’.

  • Login As
    Enable or disable ‘Login As’ functionality. NOTE: This setting only needs to be used in multi-site configurations.

  • Username
    Username for ‘Login As’ functionality. 

  • Password
    Password for ‘Login As’ functionality. 

  • Enable Transcoding
    Enable or disable transcoding for this client, check tutorial on ‘Stream video using limited bandwidth connection’.

  • Transcoding bandwidth
    Maximum bandwidth usage in KBytes for transcoding video, see tutorial on ‘Stream video using limited bandwidth connection’.
